LUME Wood V2 Print Queue
The wood enclosure replaces the large 3D-printed outer bar shell and rear pod. Do not print the old shell halves or pod halves for this version. The printer is now used for the precision support pieces that make the wood body usable: camera mounts, sensor shelves, K11 tray, cable clamps, fan parts, and service plates.

Status: active print support kit for the wood enclosure prototype.
All dimensions are millimeters.

Open these in OrcaSlicer, inspect the plate, then slice/export G-code from the GUI.
| Plate | Orca project | Parts | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | `3mf-current/wood-v2/01_wood_v2_small_fit.3mf` | 2x Arducam mounts, NF-A8 grille, NF-A8 spacer, USB service plate, display cable clamps, zip-tie anchors, feedthrough radius template | First validation plate. Confirms printer settings, fan hardware fit, Arducam mounting, cable routing hardware. |
| 02 | `3mf-current/wood-v2/02_wood_v2_sensor_stack.3mf` | Mega shelf, Bolt shelf, sensor side-rail pair | Builds the stacked Mega/Bolt shelf tower for the wood front bar. |
| 03 | `3mf-current/wood-v2/03_wood_v2_k11_sled.3mf` | Universal sled base, K11 adapter plate | Holds the K11 in the rear wood pod with bottom-fan clearance. |
Print Order
1. Print Plate 01 first. This replaces the old shell-joinery coupon gate for the wood version.
2. Test-fit the NF-A8 FLX fan against the grille/spacer and verify the 71.5 mm hole pattern.
3. Test-fit both Arducams against the two printed mounts before drilling the final front panel holes.
4. Print Plate 02 only after confirming the wood front-face window layout is still the stacked Mega-lower/Bolt-upper design.
5. Print Plate 03 after confirming the K11 will sit in the rear pod with ports facing the rear service window.
Slicer Baseline
Use these as the starting point in OrcaSlicer:
- Printer: Elegoo Neptune 4 Max, 0.4 mm nozzle.
- Material: Polymaker ASA grey if the printer is already set up for ASA. PETG is acceptable for a low-heat bench prototype. Avoid PLA near the K11/fan pod.
- Layer height: 0.20 mm.
- Walls: 4.
- Top/bottom: 5 layers.
- Infill: 25
- Brim: 3 mm for all plates, 5 mm if ASA corners lift.
- Supports: off. The parts are designed to print flat without supports.
- Bed/nozzle for ASA: use the existing Polymaker ASA profile, nominally 100 C bed and 260 C nozzle.
STL Inventory
| STL | Size, mm | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `arducam_mount.stl` | 54 x 54 x 4 | Print two if not using Plate 01. 28 mm lens clearance, 28 mm mount pitch. |
| `mega_shelf.stl` | 150 x 155 x 12 | Lower Femto Mega shelf with side lips, rear cable relief, and tentative 1/4-20 access hole. |
| `bolt_shelf.stl` | 145 x 85 x 11 | Upper Femto Bolt shelf with rear USB-C relief. |
| `sensor_side_rail_pair.stl` | 130 x 38 x 8 | Two shelf rails in one STL. Fixed height rails, do not use vertical adjustment slots. |
| `nfa8_grille.stl` | 94 x 94 x 4 | Exterior 80 mm fan grille for the Noctua NF-A8 FLX top exhaust. |
| `nfa8_spacer.stl` | 86 x 86 x 6 | Spacer/gasket for the NF-A8 under the pod top panel. |

| `zip_tie_anchor_strip.stl` | 154 x 16 x 4 | Eight cable anchors in one strip. Cut apart after print if desired. |
| `feedthrough_radius_template.stl` | 70 x 70 x 3 | Router/sanding guide for the large bar-to-pod feedthrough corner radius. |
| `k11_sled_base.stl` | 140 x 135 x 16 | Universal compute tray base. |
| `k11_adapter_plate.stl` | 124 x 124 x 16 | K11 VESA75 adapter with 12 mm bottom-fan standoff clearance. |

Keep them as historical references only.
Approval Gates
- Arducam physical screw pitch and lens barrel clear the printed mount.
- NF-A8 FLX screws pass through the grille/spacer and line up with the fan.
- Mega and Bolt windows remain fully visible when the shelves are installed.
- K11 bottom fan has at least 12 mm air below it and ports remain reachable from the rear service window.
- All high-bandwidth USB cables can bend into the rear pod without pushing sensors out of alignment.
